I am watching MSNBC. Keith Olbermann switched over to the Chris Matthews whose covering the RNC convention. Tweety made no mention of Palin's scandal. Instead Tweety made us suffer through a speech on his opinion on politics and democracy.
Well, damn it, cover the politics of what's going on. I'd much rather you report about politics and democracy then listen to you blow hot air.
Update: Agreed with most posters. Bristol Palin's pregancy has no bearing on her ability to perform as VP. MSNBC should get off their buts and cover the other stuff. Troopergate is serious. Palin possibly fired someone without due process. Hey, what about the 5th Amendment?
CNN is already talking about Bristol Palin's pregnancy, troopergate, and the poor vetting process.
If MSNBC is afraid of being charged with sexism, then get some women to talk about Palin's problem. What about Maddow, O'Donnel, Bernard, etc.
The Palin pregnancy, troopergate, and other stuff can be discuss on ideological grounds. For example, what is Palin's philosophy or history on the role executive power? There is no need to discuss the Palin pregnancy beyond the fact that the campaign releasing a statement the girl is pregnant.
CNN had Nancy Pfotehauer (sp?,) McCain's Campaign advisor, on the show earlier. I almost fell off my seat when she called Palin "a hero." Gloria Borger rolled her eyes at that comment.
Borger asked Pfotehauer when Palin would be sitting down for interviews with the media because Palin was new on the scene. Pfotehauer had the nerve to imply that people knew Palin in Alaska. The problem was the "liberal, Washington, newsmedia" didn't know her. (I'll check to see if a video is available and post it.)
This is absolutely crazy. Hey, Tweety, get the McCain camp on the air to talk about their new VP candidate. If CNN can discuss the Palin mess, I see know reason why MSNBC cannot covering it as well.
MSNBC get your crap together.
